Ways to Partner
Foundational Systems and Compute
We are interested in collaborating with technology partners to develop the computational infrastructure and technical foundation that make the AI Physicist possible.
Data and Simulation Ecosystems
Part of building the AI Physicist depends on curated, high-quality data. We are looking to partner with organizations that can contribute or help construct physics-relevant datasets, synthetic simulation environments, and benchmark challenges. Together, we will establish standards that make data auditable, shareable and usable for the global scientific community.
Reasoning and Architecture Research
Collaborations in architecture and reasoning focus on advancing how the AI Physicist represents, tests, and refines physical models. Partnerships in this direction will focus on developing next-generation symbolic reasoning modules, generative model architectures, and evaluation frameworks for scientific discovery.
Open Science Infrastructure
We are building systems that make discovery transparent and collaborative by design. Partners can contribute to open repositories, toolchains, and reproducibility frameworks that allow research outputs to be validated and extended globally. These efforts lay the groundwork for a more connected and accountable scientific ecosystem.
FirstPrinciples Talks
As part of our effort to encourage open collaboration within the scientific community, we host regular FirstPrinciples Talks. This online webinar format is used to share and discuss emerging ideas and research from featured guest speakers at the intersection of AI and fundamental science. We welcome new participants, both as guest speakers or audience members.
Partner with Us
Collaboration is at the heart of our mission. Whether through technology, research, or shared infrastructure, our collaborative partnerships will help build the systems that enable new forms of open scientific inquiry.
Partner with Us
Join a growing network of researchers, engineers, and collaborators interested in advancing how science is done. Your participation can help define what discovery looks like in the era of AI.
For Partners
Advancing Discovery, Together
Building Systems That Move Science Forward
FirstPrinciples is building the AI Physicist to explore the laws of nature and push the boundaries of theoretical understanding. Our moonshot goal is to create a system capable of developing a new theoretical framework that unifies (or transcends) quantum mechanics and general relativity by the end of 2035.
Achieving this vision depends on building robust infrastructure, tools, and responsible systems for managing data and computation. We are looking to partner with organizations that strengthen these foundations and help create the ecosystem needed for open, AI-enabled discovery.
Your Partnership Matters
Developing the AI Physicist requires integrating expertise across science, engineering, and computation. Our strategic partnerships help connect academia, industry, and non-profit research to advance these capabilities through shared infrastructure, joint resources, and collaborative problem-solving. Ultimately, we aim to create open frameworks that outlast individual projects and contribute to the reliable introduction of AI into the scientific loop.
