Ways to Contribute

Strategic Philanthropy

Provide targeted support for research & development, engineering, compute infrastructure, and training resources for the development of the AI Physicist. Philanthropic support also contributes to open scientific infrastructure, such as public datasets, benchmarks, and open-source frameworks, which enable reproducibility and extension by the global scientific community.

Foundation and Institutional Giving

Research endowments, institutional grants, or foundation contributions can advance high-impact initiatives that align with your organization’s mission and goals. Long-term research initiatives, fellowship or internship programs, and the creation/maintenance of shared research assets can help FirstPrinciples expand the reach of AI-enabled, open science.

Legacy Gifts

Support the long-term development of AI-enabled science and systems that facilitate open inquiry. Contributions can support research fellowship programs, early-career opportunities or establish named programs that sustain open science efforts.

FirstPrinciples Talks

As part of our effort to encourage open collaboration within the scientific community, we host regular FirstPrinciples Talks. This online webinar format is used to share and discuss emerging ideas and research from featured guest speakers at the intersection of AI and fundamental science. We welcome new participants, both as guest speakers or audience members.

Partner with Us

We believe progress in science should be collaborative, transparent, and accessible. Funder support helps ensure that the tools driving discovery are developed with those principles at their core and are widely disseminated to the global scientific community.

Partner with Us

Join a growing network of researchers, engineers, and collaborators interested in advancing how science is done. Your participation can help define what discovery looks like in the era of AI.

Help us build the AI Physicist, and push science toward its next great breakthroughs.

Values

Curiosity

We foster a relentless curiosity that drives us to explore the unknown and push the boundaries of understanding.

Ambition

We dare to dream big and aim for ambitious goals, challenging ourselves to achieve more than we ever thought possible.

Risk Taking

We embrace risks, knowing that innovation often requires stepping into the unknown and being unafraid of failure.

Collaboration

We believe in the power of collaboration, working together across disciplines and borders to achieve our shared vision.

Results-driven

We are committed to making a positive impact for all of humanity, driving our work towards tangible results that benefit people worldwide.

For Funders

Join Us in Creating a New Model for Scientific Progress

Building the Next Foundation for Science

We invite you to join us in our work to democratize science. We collaborate globally, share openly, and tackle some of science’s most difficult challenges. Together, we will take practical steps toward accelerating scientific discovery.

FirstPrinciples is building the AI Physicist to explore the laws of nature and push the boundaries of theoretical understanding. Our moonshot goal is to create a system capable of developing a new theoretical framework that unifies (or transcends) quantum mechanics and general relativity by the end of 2035.

Your Support Matters

Meaningful progress in science often occurs when curiosity aligns with the right expertise and resources. Your support helps fuel momentum in this critical journey. As a supporter, we look forward to sharing key developments with you.

Today, fundamental science research faces many complexities, and progress has been slowing down. At the same time, AI technology is advancing quickly, but lacks the rigor, transparency, and domain specialization required for fundamental physics. Philanthropic and institutional support can help FirstPrinciples bridge that divide. Contributions directly support:

  • Building the AI Physicist by advancing model research, contributing to compute infrastructure, and training capacity to build reliable, domain-specialized AI for science.

  • Open science infrastructure that makes datasets, benchmarks, and reasoning modules open and available to the global scientific community.

  • Collaborative programs that connect scientists, researchers, and engineers across disciplines and institutions.

  • Education and outreach efforts that support the development of our thought leadership, public Talks series and other media efforts to popularize fundamental science research.

Please join us and help contribute to a more transparent, accessible, and interconnected global research system.
